SUMMER 2003
Sedona

pictures of Sedona  (click for pictures)

We spent a half day in Sedona.  That is certainly not enough time to figure out where you are or what you can see so we decided to take a jeep tour.  Red Rock Jeep Tours at 1485 W. Hwy 89A in Sedona was recommended to us and that is who we chose.  WE HAD A GREAT TRIP INTO THE SURROUNDING FOREST.  The pictures don't do the landscape justice.  We had an outstanding jeep driver.  It was a great experience.

The word Sedona sounds mysterious.  This is a land that is balanced by breathtaking beauty and hard work.  It is dry, rough and gorgeous.  Red Rock Country has intensely blue skies, innumerable green hues, and a wide range of red colors.

We were impressed with Sedona.  It is a great place to visit.  I can't wait for our next trip.

Chicago born
Western bred
Seeing thru nature’s eyes

Working hard
Faithful days
Learning cowboy ways

Tough as nails
Gentle heart
Years of wilderness roads

Loving the day
Knowing the land
Helping others see

Spinning tales
Of a beautiful land
Lifting city hearts

Years roll by
For many days
Just a moment for you

Showing others
The beauty you love
