ISRAEL PILGRIMAGE
DEC 31, 2009-JAN 9, 2010

OUR ITINERARY WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

December 31-TH-Day 1-depart USA

January 1, 2010-FR-Day 2-arrive Tel Aviv and transfer to Mashabei Sade overnight-this will be an exciting experience at a beautiful Israeli Kibbutz deep in the Negev Desert about 25 km south of Beersheva. You will sleep in the region that the children of Israel wandered for forty years.

January 2-SA-Day 3-Breakfast daily at 7 am departing daily at 8 am-- Our first day’s pilgrimage in Israel we travel north to Tel Beersheva, Masada, Qumran, and overnight at Maagan Hotel Kibbutz.

January 3-SU-Day 4-Sea of Galilee boat cruise, the Church of the Loaves and Fishes, Tabgha-Primacy of Peter, Capernaum, Bethsaida, Chorazin, Mt. of the Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, and overnight at Maagan Hotel Kibbutz.

January 4-MO-Day 5- Bet Shean, Megiddo, Nazareth overlook, Zippori, evening walk through Acco beginning at the Lighthouse through the Caravansary, the harbor, the suk, and shop for a short while at the coppersmith’s shop, overnight at Maagan Hotel Kibbutz.

January 5-TU-Day 6-this morning we begin our journey to Jerusalem. We will visit Mt. Carmel where Elijah slew the prophets of Baal, Caesarea-the ancient Roman port and Crusader city, Bethlehem if open, and overnight at Ramat Rachel.

January 6-WE-Day 7-early morning visit to the Temple Mount, St. Anne and Bethesda, Antonio Fortress, walk the Via Dolorosa, visit the Russian Church and Holy Sepulcher, lunch in the Christian Quarter, Jewish Quarter, the Cardo, Mt. Zion, the Upper Room, and St. Peter in Gallicantu, overnight in Ramat Rachel.

January 7-TH-Day 8- Mt. of Olives, Dominus Flevit, Kotel Tunnel, Southern Steps, Pool of Siloam, and the Garden Tomb where we will have brief worship service and overnight at Ramat Rachel.

January 8-FR-Day 9- Yad Vashem, David & Goliath, various other sights in Jerusalem and returning to Ramat Rachel for late departure for the airport to arrive by 8:30 p.m. We have a late night departure for the USA.

January 9-SA-Day 10- arrive back home in USA
