Sa'ar Waterfall

In the springtime in Israel, the rainfall sometimes causes a river to flow where there is normally a dry valley.  Since water is not excessive and the region is given to barrenness without water, the streams that rise are almost always considered to be a blessing from God.  The imagery couldn't possible be more poignant.
Here's the picture.  This is the Sa'ar waterfall.  By itself, the waterfall is a beautiful picture.  Yet, it is only the evidence of a blessing, not the blessing itself.  Evidence is good!  You can see the evidence.  You can hear it.   It moves things around.  In the case of a waterfall, the blessing soon moves on to spread the goodness.
The Holy Spirit has been described as being like a river of flowing water.  If He is active in your life, there will be evidence.  You can see the evidence.  You should be able to hear something.  He is probably going to move things around in your life.  Perhaps most importantly, He will not stop moving.  He will flow right past the boundaries of your capacity.  He will move on, either through you or around you, to spread the blessing around.
