Heat and problems weren’t on our mind as we rode up the Taos highway to Gabriel’s. It’s located twelve miles north of Santa Fe, just past Camel Rock. Gabriel’s is a New Mexican restaurant with a specialty, the very best Guacamole in the world.

Eighteen miles further up the road to the west is Los Alamos. We decided to take this route for dessert. We enjoyed the open road, the thunderheads in the distance, the sun peeking around the mountain peaks and the excitement of a twisting mountain road.

On the return side of our trip I reflected on the very best Guacamole in the world. My thought was what in my life would people say was the very best in the world? In light of the fact that our Father creates each one of us uniquely in His image, was I aware of or working on that thing in my life that the Father emphasized when He created me? "I love you Lord; You are my strength."
