The City Different
Santa Fe, City of Holy Faith, is a place of
trendy restaurants, galleries, boutiques, cultural clashes and tales of miracles.
Located at 7,000 feet altitude, it is
uniquely different from any other city in America. The mixing of its Indian,
Hispanic and Anglo cultures have produced a city that is religious, exciting and colorful
with a determined sense of importance. It is a place that is worth visiting
and studying.

Santa
Fe challenges me. It is a city of great opportunity and multiplicity of
need. I see the beauty of nature and the variety of expressions of faith. I am
encouraged to be more faithful in sharing the truth of Christ by what I see.
People need Jesus. Paul expresses a similar awareness of this great need in his trip
to Athens.
I am overwhelmed by the landscapes. Stepping stone
mountains surround you.

Everywhere you look, the horizon is filled with
more mountains. The Sangre de Christo mountains to the east turn blood red at
sunset. The other mountains surrounding Santa Fe absorb and radiate light in a new
and different way each day. The stones themselves bear testimony to the creative
activity of the Lord.
