How good can pasta get? Semolina in Mid-City answers this question with a superb pasta meal. When you step inside the front door you are inundated with the warm emotions and sweet smells of basil, oregano, tomatoes, Italian sausage, rosemary, cheeses and a multiplicity of other aromas. I get a feeling of friendliness, family and home. This is real comfort food and a great place to eat. I relax, forget about the rush of the day and enjoy myself. Semolina is a perfect get-away. This is the right way to end a Friday, or Thursday, or Wednesday, or even a Monday.

I love the Santa Fe pasta and the Santa Fe chicken with their zesty Southwest flavors. The Chicken Cordon Bleu pasta, Chicken Parmigiana, and Pasta jambalaya are equally as good. Just writing these dishes down makes my mouth water. The Semolina salad and the bread with garlic butter are a perfect accompaniment to any of these dishes.

The prices will suit a family budget. The seating is comfortable. They’re waiting on you at Semolina’s in Mid-City. Tell them Mike Clay from Lifesongs sent you. They don’t know Mike Clay but it’ll make me feel better.
