Corky’s is a fast food barbecue restaurant that also has sit-down service in a well-appointed dining room. They serve the best barbecue in the New Orleans area. The restaurant is located a long block east of Clearview. Their Memphis style barbecue is slathered with a mahogany-brown barbecue sauce that is so good it defies description. It is as close to perfect as you can get barbecue. If you like barbecued beef, pork or chicken, Corky’s is your place.

I like barbecue chicken. But then again, I like barbecue pork just as well. The Killer includes your choice of ribs and a quarter Bar-B-Q chicken plate with Bar-B-Q beans, cole slaw and homemade bread. This is a meal that is properly described. It is a lot of good food.

Corky’s has more than barbecue. Their onion rings are served in a loaf and a half-loaf and if you like onion rings try theirs. The spaghetti they serve equals the spaghetti served in some Italian restaurants.

When you add a good Children’s Menu, sandwiches, and tasty desserts, Corky’s meet the standard of an excellent restaurant. It is a good place to eat.

The menu is extensive and everything they serve is available for take-out. Service is rapid and friendly. Corky’s prices are inexpensive so take the whole family and enjoy the night out.
