Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you with pictures of the Wadi Darga and Metsukei Dragot, the wilderness camp perched about 1,300 feet above the Dead Sea on the edge of the Judean Wilderness. It was an exciting experience to rough it when we stayed there. As you can see the switchback road that leads up to the camp is a bit exciting. I have included some pictures of the Wadi Darga, located next to the camp. Wadi Darga runs from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea and can be dangerous when it rains in Jerusalem.
The blue in the top of the picture is the Dead Sea some 900-1,000 feets below.
Above is the Wadi Darga a good way into the Judean Wilderness.
